Singaporeans - the time has finally come. We've all been waiting to hear more about the SingapoRediscovers vouchers and more information has finally been announced! ?
Singaporeans aged 18 and above in 2020 will receive $100 in vouchers via SingPass from December 2020, valid until end-June 2021. The vouchers can be used to:
- Offset ticket purchases at selected attractions
- Offset hotel stays at selected accommodations
Adult Singaporeans will also be able to purchase up to 6 subsidised tickets for attractions and tours (up to $10 off per ticket) for those under 18 years old from December 2020 to end-June 2021. Mums and dads take note - it's perfect for the upcoming school holidays! ?
P.S. Do note that Permanent Residents are not eligible for the vouchers.

The vouchers come in denominations of $10, and can be used at all licensed hotels, attractions, and even local tours run by operators that have been given the green light from Singapore Tourism Board (STB) to resume. Yup, that includes popular spots like Gardens By The Bay, S.E.A. Aquarium, and Universal Studios Singapore! Currently there are 40 hotels and over 200 attractions that fall under this scheme - and we hope that even more will be added soon!
Tourist attractions can also apply to increase their operating capacity from 25% to 50% from 18 September, Friday onwards. Attractions can also apply to STB to increase the capacity for their outdoor shows - so if you haven't been able to catch that animal show at the Singapore Zoo just yet, you'll stand a better chance of getting a seat now. ?
