New Features At Singapore Discovery Centre (With Halal Food Nearby!)

Singapore Discovery Centre's got 2 new permanent exhibits that'll have you on your toes. The multi-sensorial experiences will immerse you in worlds unknown to our generation, leaving you spell-bound. For both an exciting and enriching time, you should definitely check out Through The Lens of Time and Sandbox, Singapore Discovery Centre's 2 new permanent exhibits!

P.S.  Singapore Discovery Centre also has exciting attractions like an escape room, laser tag, 4D simulation rides, paintball and more!

1.  Through The Lens Of Time

Singapore Discovery Centre's new exhibit, Through The Lens of Time, uses cool AR features and realistic sets to immerse you in Singapore's past. Walking in the footsteps of our ancestors, experience the times of Sang Nila Utama and Raffles.

Then, discover the Japanese Occupation and the Konfrontasi before heading toward independence. Putting your school classes right before your very eyes, this exhibit is perfect for any history-junkie, or anyone who wants to know more about Singapore's past.

2. Sandbox

Another new feature brought to you by Singapore Discovery Centre is Sandbox! In contrast with Through The Lens of Tine, this exhibition imagines with you Singapore's future.

The concept of the sandbox allows you to, like with sand in a sandbox, both create and rebuild any ideas you might have of Singapore's future. With multi-sensory stories and interactive displays, you can now imagine possibilities of the future!

Sandbox also has exciting games such as Battlefield Command and Situation Room! Defend Singapore from incoming threats from land, air, and sea or even virus and disaster outbreaks such as Covid-19.

3. When It Was Syonanto

You see it in your textbooks and learn about it in stories from our grandparents, but you'll never truly understand what it was like.

Singapore Discovery Centre's new dramatised tour, When It Was Syonanto, transports you back to 1942! This is the closest you might get to experiencing and understanding one of the darkest periods in Singapore's history.
