Here's How You Can Go To Singapore By Bus From Johor Bahru

Forget flying to Singapore where the air ticket can be super expensive - just take the bus from Johor Bahru! Here's how you can travel from Johor Bahru to Singapore by bus.

Step-by-step to travel to Singapore from Johor Bahru by bus

Step 1: Park your car at Komtar JBCC and walk to JB CIQ

Parking here costs RM30 per day. The walk takes about 10 minutes and it's a covered walkway with plenty of escalators.

Step 2: Malaysian Immigration checkpoint

Once you've arrived at JB CIQ, head over to the Malaysian immigration counter to check your passport. Then, walk towards the Woodlands signboard to head over to Singapore.

Step 3: Take the bus

You'll be directed to go to the basement level where the bus station is. Find the Causeway Link bus CW1 towards Kranji MRT station. The bus ticket fee is RM2.60/adult and kids ride for free. You can pay by cash or debit card onboard. The MRT station is the perfect stop point for you to head to most hotels in Singapore as well as other attractions.

Step 4: Arrive at Woodlands

The bus ride will take you to Woodlands, the Singaporean immigration checkpoint. The ride takes about 5 minutes. Here, you'll have to disembark to get your passport checked. Be sure to fill up the Singapore entry form! Depending on traffic, the queue can take about 15 minutes to an hour.

Step 6: Off to your adventures in Singapore!

Once you've passed passport control, get back on the CW1 bus. You don't need to again, just show your ticket. The bus will take you to Kranji MRT where you can start your adventure!
