Chelsea, London had a Chinese New Year market with traditional food, entertainment, and face painting When I visited featuring Food @bitemibuns Bao buns, Dim sum, Crispy chili beef, and Chinese dumplings. Entertainment Dragon dancers, Lion performances, Chinese drummers, Face painting, and Live street entertainers. The Chinese New Year market was on the first Sunday of February from 10 AM–4 PM. held in Duke of York Square, a historic destination in Chelsea. part of the weekly Fine Food Market The square also has over 30 stores, including boutiques and established brands The Saatchi Gallery is located in the square The Chinese New Year market welcomes in the new year with vibrant red lanterns. The year of the snake ? is associated with transformation, charm, wisdom, and elegance. A great day chatting to traders and trying samples with artwork from @philipcolbert ?

The Saatchi Gallery is definitely worth a visit. I loved the Flowers exhibition.

Duke of York Square in Chelsea is one of my favourite spots in London for a relaxed day out. It strikes a great balance between being lively and laid-back, with plenty to explore without feeling overly crowded. Whether you’re just popping by or planning to spend a few hours, there’s always something going on. The square has a great mix of high-end and more accessible shops, so there’s a bit of something for everyone. It’s also a great place for food — lots of cafes and restaurants with outdoor seating, which is perfect on a sunny day. The Saturday food market is definitely a highlight. There’s such a good variety of fresh, delicious options — everything from gourmet burgers to vegan bites and sweet treats. It's also a really nice area for people-watching, with a stylish but unpretentious crowd. The location is ideal, being right off King's Road and close to the Saatchi Gallery, so it’s easy to tie in a bit of culture or shopping. Overall, Duke of York Square is a great choice if you’re looking for a chilled, classy atmosphere with good food, interesting shops, and a bit of that Chelsea charm. Definitely worth a visit.
