Peaceful Calm moments here in the temple of Lord Buddha... Must go place for once... "Best time to go is early morning" This place was build was ex prime minister Jawahar Lal Nehru to help Tibetan Buddhist monks and people who came from Tibet after the revolution in that area.. The origin place of Buddhism is India as the founder Lord Budh took birth in India(Lumbini) and after enlightenment he started a new religion Buddhism..

For a city like Delhi, it is not common a have a Tibetan colony. You get down from metro station and walk into it, you will feel like everything is changing surrounding you...I mean the environment, the people etc and you finally walk into a fine Monastery into the heart of Delhi..and that's an amazing experience.... Its a really beautiful Monastery and those Tibetan people are so friendly and helpful. So peaceful place and I was looking this kind of place to spend some time.. and I think it was totally worth it.. The monastery was inaugurated in 1963 by Pandit Nehru. Important Details: Enter from the gate of Monastery Market and take the immediate left before entering the actual market and you will reach the Monastery. Nearest metro station is Civil Lines. you can reach there walking..it will take around 10-15 mins max.

Really peaceful place to visit in Delhi. You can go there and sit there for a while. People who live there are friendly. Nearest metro station is Kashmiri Gate. Auto will charge you Around Rs. 50 from gate no 3 of Kashmiri Gate Metro ( For two persons). There is also a Tibetans Market nearby which is known as Monetary Market specially for men. You can enjoy Tibetan foods like Thupka and momos etc in nearby eateries.

It is a very good place which gives peace to the mind, there is no noise and the clothes are also very good and that too at cheaper prices than outside shops and the quality is also good
