If you’ve been planning a beach daycaytion, this is your chance to see it to fruition! Come September, you can head over to the heart of Sentosa Beach to see the new and exciting Central Beach Bazaar. Lay down your mats and be amazed by the Sentosa SkyJet, a fountain that stands at 80 metres tall (which is about the height of a 24-floor building), making it the tallest in Southeast Asia! ?The best part is that it lights up at night and is located right next to the Wings Of Time, a night-time water show feature with fireworks ? which ropened earlier this year after being closed during the pandemic. So, if you’re staying till the later hours, you can enjoy a spectacular light and water show by these two water features!

But if you arrive earlier in the day, you might not be able to enjoy the light show yet. The good news is that while the Wings Of Time only has light and fireworks shows at night, it will be turned into a Musical Fountain during the daytime! ? It’s perfect for families with children, couples, and friends to come and bask in the beach air while enjoying the afternoon sun, music and a water show.

You’ll even get to experience iconic and legendary 90s’ tunes like Walking On Sunshine, Don’t Let The Sun Go Down On Me and National Day Medleys too! Entry to see the Sentosa SkyJet and Musical Fountain is complementary with every minimum spend of $5 at the International Food Street, where visitors can dine while enjoying a breathtaking view of the shows as they enjoy the tasty street foods! ?

Halal Food You Can Look Out For

What’s a day out at the beach without some delicious food to go with the ambience, right? ? Stroll down the International Food Street and find some unique and beach-appropriate flavours! We were able to identify several Muslim-friendly kiosks including Masala Wala which sells vegetarian Indian snacks as well as Slurps & Scoops, a dessert and beverage kiosk that offers sweet treats to help you beat the heat. ?The other food kiosks will not be serving dishes with pork or lard, however, alcohol is served at the venue, so we advise you to dine at your own discretion!

If you’re looking for more filling meals, head on over to Good Old Days, a halal-certified food court and Western grill located at Siloso Beach Walk where you can find everything ranging from Western to local fares like juicy Burgers and Steaks, Hainanese Chicken Rice, Chicken Briyani and more! ?There’s even a kids’ meal available if you’ve brought the little ones. It’s a family-friendly setting that lets you enjoy the vibes of the beach as well as the company of your family, and did we mention that the prices are affordable too?

While you’re in Sentosa, don’t miss the chance to experience the Skyhelix for an unforgettable gondola ride that’ll take you above the sea and tree tops for a 360 panoramic view of the coastline - WARNING: Definitely not for the faint of heart (or anyone with a fear of heights) ?. If that sounds exciting to you, check out our guide to the Skyhelix Sentosa to find out more!
