“I recently had the pleasure of attending the Berbuka Puasa function at Serena Brasserie, and I must say, the experience was nothing short of incredible. The spread of food was absolutely fantastic, offering a diverse selection that truly catered to all tastes. Every dish was flavorful and prepared with such care, making it a memorable dining experience. What truly made the evening stand out, however, was the hospitality provided by the Serena Brasserie staff. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted warmly with smiles, and the level of service was top-notch throughout the evening. Special mention to the lady in blue attire (I believe her name was Nadia, though I may be mistaken), who welcomed us with a genuine smile and a kind, warm demeanor that made us feel right at home. Kudos to the team at InterContinental for making this event so special. Great job, and I’ll definitely be back!” “We had a fantastic experience at this hotel. The check-in process was seamless, thanks to Sam's exceptional assistance. The room was spacious and well-maintained, with housekeeping doing an outstanding job to ensure everything was spotless. The attention to detail was impressive, with amenities tailored to our needs – three guests in one room – including three towels, slippers, cups, and glasses. Breakfast was delightful, with a friendly and efficient team. The hotel's prime location added to its appeal. What truly stood out, however, was the warm hospitality from the entire staff, from the doormen to the reception team. Everyone was courteous, helpful, and made our stay truly memorable.”

“THE WORST Japanese dining experience I've ever had. The food was excessively pricey for what you get, and honestly, I could have cooked better at home. A RM 250 salad looked like it was lazily thrown into a bowl, and the rest of the food was no better. The sashimi wasn’t fresh, the cold dishes were drowning in oil and overly salty, and the portions were embarrassingly small. We made a reservation two months in advance for our anniversary, drawn by the restaurant's popularity, but it seems their reputation is all hype and clever marketing. The atmosphere was far from enjoyable—loud and outdated, with tables crammed so close together that there was no sense of privacy. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. My local friends shared similar negative experiences. The restaurant was filled with foreigners because of their marketing, but the locals don’t go there anymore. Both the food and the exorbitant prices felt like a scam. This place completely ruined our New Year’s anniversary. The food was a massive disappointment, and the experience felt like a total rip-off. Attached are photos of the dishes we were served compared to the prices listed on the receipt—it’s shocking. My local friends had warned me about similar experiences, and now I completely understand. Avoid this place at all costs—it’s all marketing hype with zero substance.” “The food was good, and the service was great. We came after having a less-than-great experience at a Gordon Ramsay restaurant, so we were very happy with the warm and friendly service here. This was our second time visiting, and the service on both occasions was excellent. We’re happy to return and show our support. Thank you to the team for your service and hospitality on December 26. We had a wonderful dinner.”

“It was indeed a great place to bring kids to explore the place. It’s not about playing but finding an interest about what your kids will like. The staff here are friendly and assist the adult plus guiding the kids whenever they are lost during the activities. They are patience when guiding the kids to ensure they understand the rules.” “No waiting time when we visit on last Sunday (maybe the morning it was raining heavily) or maybe it’s still raya mood? I don’t know. My 3 kids managed to do almost 25-30 jobs. No waiting time. The AirConditioning System work is the most under rated hahahah people didn’t notice it and u get to repeat to gain 5kidzos. The staff is helpful. Mostly local! Feel worth it to pay such entrance fee for services from our local staffs. There is parent lounge and the toilet is very clean too. Just that I hope more food making work using kidzos instead of RM. the peice is already quite expensive so spending more on food cost quite a lot especially when we bring more than 1 kid. Recommended age is 7years and above as they can enjoy everything Please wear covered shoes! Wall climbing is the best”

“Great place to get your souveniers. Remember to bargain. Wish there was more sport clothes for girls too..” “Chinatown initially was an area populated by chinese origin people of malaysia. Now the area is largely inhabited by bangaladeshi origin malaysians with loads of products and food. The articles are close imitation and mostly roadside hawker vendors.”

“Modern, well located hotel just 2 minutes walk from the towers. As platinum members, we got an upgrade and free breakfasts. Service at the hotel was outstanding - everyone was very helpful and friendly, and we enjoyed every interaction with hotel staff. Note that rooms don’t have soundproofing and may not be ideal for light sleepers. Moreover there will be minor constructions ongoing at the hotel over the next 6 months - be sure to check which rooms / floors will be affected by construction noise prior to visit! Food-wise there’s not too many options at the hotel itself so we usually went out or ordered in-room dining (which was pretty good!). Breakfasts offer a good diversity of food and drinks. Wet deck is a must-visit for beautiful views of the towers (check it out both during day and night). We found the pool to be quite small for swimming (and it’s not infinity pool) but the views are great regardless! Get a coconut and enjoy the relaxing vibes” “An excellent hotel - spacious, clean and modern room, a pool with a perfect view of Petronas Towers and the staff were friendly and welcoming and very helpful. A shame the spa was closed for refurbishment at the time. We had a very nice stay and would definitely return if visiting KL again.”

“The room is quite dim but the bed is cozy and comfortable. We had a good night sleep. The location is superb. Pavilion shopping mall is only 5 minutes walk which is so convenient. But there isn’t any parking provided. We parked our car at a valet service nearby. The price is RM35 per day. I think it’s quite reasonable. Overall everything is great.” “Date: 22/03/25 Really great comfortable hotel. Early check-in was available for my room from 7am at RM30/hr. Late check-out also subject to availability at the same rate. The hotel had a great ambience and the room was high class and comfortable. Bedding was amazingly comfy and clean. Service was great. Lifts were fast. Location was convenient. Will be back again!”

“We stayed for 3 nights at EQ for Zhou Shen's concert which happened on Sat 12 April. EQ is centrally located. We could walk to all the popular spots like KLCC, Bukit Bintang, Pavillion and Fahrenheit for food, shopping, massages, hair / nail salons, etc. What won our hearts is the top-notch service from all the staff. From Sam and Naim at the hotel lobby, to the chef who prepares our eggs at the breakfast buffet and Sufi and the rest of his team at the front desk. They were all personable and attentive, smiling, greeting and chatting with us each time we met. The high standard of care from each and every staff is really commendable. We stayed in a twin room without view of KlCC but the KL skyline is still colourful and impressive from our 46th floor room. The room itself is spacious, beds comfortable, bathroom large with bathtub and shower and a separate toilet. Everything in the minibar is complimentary and replenished daily. The gym is large with lots of machines, the pool has great views as well. When we come back to KL, we will definitely stay at EQ again. The people at EQ made KL so memorable. If I have to nitpick, I'll suggest changing the shampoo and conditioner as the shampoo is drying and the conditioner not creamy enuf to disentangle my hair. :)” “I recently spent 4 nights at EQ on route to Singapore and was very impressed by this hotel. This is one of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed in. My room on the 48th floor was the Deluxe King Twin Tower room with a fantastic view of the Petronas Towers. The service all around was outstanding. From the staff at reception, who remembered my name, to the staff at the breakfast buffet, to the very attentive housekeeping staff, the service was excellent. The room was luxurious and had more bathroom amenities than I've ever seen in a hotel! One has an unobstructed Twin Tower view from anywhere in the room, including the window next to the tub. During my stay, I had an excellent Balinese massage at the Spa with Fify. Her service, as well as the entire spa was top-notch. The breakfast buffet had lots of choices between Malaysian, Asian and Western dishes. The hotel was only a block from the SkyBridge, which was more comprehensive than I expected, and can connect you to multiple malls, MRT/monorail stations, Bukit Bintang and the Petronas Towers. At check out, the hotel arranged for early morning transportation to KL Sentral for me by contacting Grab and negotiating the price with the driver in advance, since I was unable to use the Grab App on my phone. This was very helpful in the early hours of a travel day. I will definitely stay at EQ again.”

“From the moment before check-in, the service at Hilton Kuala Lumpur stood out. I was contacted via WhatsApp ahead of time, which made the arrival feel smooth and personalized. We arrived earlier than expected, and the staff made a real effort to accommodate us with an early check-in, which was greatly appreciated. The room was clean, tidy, and well-appointed, with comfortable beds and a fantastic view that made our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, it was a very pleasant and comfortable stay, and I truly hope to return to this hotel in the future. Highly recommended!” “I had an absolutely fantastic experience at Hilton Malaysia. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcome with their warm hospitality and attentive service. Every team member I interacted with from the front desk to housekeeping was courteous, professional, and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect. Housekeeping deserves special mention the room was spotless every day, and their attention to detail truly made the space feel like a home away from home. One of the highlights was the variety of on-site restaurants. There were plenty of options to choose from, and every meal I had was delicious! Whether you're in the mood for local flavors or international cuisine, there's something to suit every palate. Overall, Hilton Malaysia exceeded my expectations in every way. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.”

“Excellent hotel. The rooms were spacious and clean. The air conditioning worked great, the beds and pillows were comfortable, and the bathroom was well designed with sufficient towel hooks and rack. The hotel staff was polite, prompt to serve their clientele, and apologetic for any inconvenience. The restaurant offered and extensive breakfast buffet that rivals any hotel buffet I have experienced globally. The price for the quality of the hotel is also reasonable. The fitness center was adequate and the pool was clean and provides a nice city skyline view.” “Celebrated my birthday at this hotel next to Mid Valley shopping mall. The team of staff is very hospitable and friendly. A big shout out to Mr Raja at the customer service who helped us move to my requested room. The whole experience was easy and seamless to me. It was truly a joyous birthday spent in Amari KL Hotel. The room is clean and spacious and the breakfast buffet spread is impressive.”

“I had a great stay at this hostel for 4 nights. The staff and other guests were very friendly and everyone was very social in the common area. PROS: - pool table and nice place to sit down to work on your laptop or write something - free access to pool / gym & sauna on 3rd floor - boiling & cold water dispensers - plates & utensils you can use - comfortable pods - approx €6 a night CONS: - not much sound proofing from the bathrooms but this wasn’t a big issue I would highly reccomend you stay here if in KL” “I have stayed here for a few days and it was one of the worst experiences I have ever had. Management didn't seem to care about clients. Once I asked for a spoon, and they gave me dirty one from the sink and asked me to wash it myself. Kitchen area overall is horrible - I was scared to touch anything - extremely dirty and cockroaches, not enough of washing soap. As well as cockroaches in the bathrooms. When I arrived, they didn't have water whole day because of some issues in the building. Also, at teh reception they offer padlocks, but when I asked them, they only had 1 broken one. I find it odd. the pod was a good size, but in a bed shape, the wooden floor seemed dirty. Lots of people in the room, so it didn't make me feel safe, had to lock my pod all the time. I will never come back.”

“One of the most exclusive and famous malls that pops up among many must see lists in Kuala Lumpur. It houses global brands for men and women in clothing, shoes, jewelry, watches, makeup and accessories. It is clean and the elegant interior architecture shines and welcomes its visitors. The mall is spacious, bright, luxuriously designed in harmonious colors. There is a food court and restaurants as well as cafes, juice bars and ice cream stations. I have visited this mall on several occasions and enjoyed the atmosphere and environment. The mall was tastefully designed during the time of Chinese new year.” “Shopaholic heaven! Pavilion KL has everything—so many shops to explore, so much food to eat, and way too many reasons to keep swiping your card. Whether you’re into high-end brands or cute local finds, you’ll probably end up with way more bags than you planned. Definitely one of the best malls in KL—come hungry and with comfy shoes, because you’ll be here for a while!”
