Concert season has been ramping up, and so many of us will be watching a concert this year in Singapore! With a ton of them being held at the National Stadium/Indoor Stadium, we've compiled the prayer rooms you can head to before or after the concert. Do take note that some of these places are just quiet corners, and not all of the prayer rooms have prayer mats and garments available. We recommend bringing along a portable prayer set!

Nearby Mosques

There aren't any mosques within the National Stadium area/Stadium MRT. However, you can drop by the nearby MRT stations which have mosques to do your prayers before/after the concert.

Masjid Hajjah Fatimah - Nicoll Highway MRT

Masjid Hajjah Fatimah is about a 10-min walk away from Nicoll Highway MRT! You can head up to the overhead bridge from the station in order to cross over to the mosque. The linkway passes over the Nicoll Highway and Beach Rd. You can spot the mosque from here and head towards it to do your prayers! Psst.. you can get a nice view of the National Stadium from this bridge too. We attached a map screenshot of the mosque below for your reference.

Masjid Haji Mohd Salleh - Kallang MRT

If you're walking to the National Stadium from Kallang MRT, you can drop by Masjid Haji Mohd Salleh first before heading there!

Masjid Malabar - Lavender MRT

This mosque is right at the edge of the Bugis area (so it's easier to get there from Lavender MRT!) and you can get there by either walking or taking a direct bus.

Prayer Rooms

There's a prayer room within the area that is the most convenient to go to!

Kallang Wave Mall

There's a set prayer room right at Kallang Wave Mall (the mall connected to the National Stadium). You just have to follow these steps to head there:

  1. Exit Stadium MRT from Exit A and head towards Kallang Wave Mall
  2. Find the "Fairprice Xtra" sign and follow it
  3. Once you see "Omoomo" on your right side, turn right
  4. Walk straight, past Fairprice Xtra and the ATMs
  5. You will see a toilet sign + nursing room sign. Follow the path all the way till you see an exit door
  6. The musollah is right behind the door!

Do note that it is a shared musollah space. The men will pray at the front of the room. For the women, head further into the room and you will see a "Muslimah" sign. Prayer garments, mats and even slippers are provided.

Note: It is humid so bring a portable fan with you if possible! (It'll help with the concert heat too)

Quiet Corners

These places do not have dedicated prayer rooms, but they do have spaces that are conducive! Just remember to take your wudhu/ablutions before entering the venue!

National Stadium

Sadly, there are no prayer rooms within the stadium itself. However, there are quiet corners where you can do your prayers without disturbance!

Between Gates 18 and 19, there is a quiet corner where you can say your prayers before entering the concert. Do note that once you scan your ticket, there are no quiet areas to do your prayers, and you most likely can't leave the place as well. You can also use the stairs near to the toilets to do your prayers too! If you're unsure where the toilets are, just ask the staff around and they will point you to the nearest one.

#HHWT Tip: Take your wudhu/ablution before entering the area as the queue to the toilets will be long.

Singapore Indoor Stadium

For quiet spaces here, you will have to ask security for the area to pray! They will lead you to the area behind the curtain where you are able to pray in peace.

Here are the locations that we know of where you can do your prayers in peace! If you know more, let's help other fellow Muslim travellers and drop your suggestions on the accompanying IG post or in our DMs!
