Attended Taraweh at the new Masjid and it is so peaceful and built to perfection, the committee and volunteers have done an outstanding job in directing the crowds as it gets very congested and parkings get full very quick which is great to see a big turn out for prayers. Brotherly advice if you are coming to Taraweh or Jumaat or even Eid bring your own mat, come early to find parking, some people park in the back but avoid blocking neighbours drive ways and minimise noise, try to be careful if you bring children not to disturb others. Heaps of pros, Ample of areas to pray outside and inside, you can make wudu outside by the fountain or the old masjid, hundreds of shoe racks, so don't leave your shoes everywhere around ( also take off your shoes once you enter the masjid premises, the start of the marble) The sister's have their own entrances and heaps of praying spaces equally clean and mastered to perfection. Also, there are tens of seating areas outside and inside if you are there for a community program or even for a family event. Well done AIH!
A beautiful and well-designed mosque with a peaceful atmosphere. The architecture is stunning, and the prayer space is spacious and well-maintained. Plenty of parking available, making it convenient for worshippers. A great place for prayer, reflection, and community gatherings.
Australian Islamic House Masjid in Edmondson Park is a beautiful and welcoming place for the Muslim community. The mosque is well-maintained, peaceful, and provides a spiritually uplifting atmosphere perfect for prayer and reflection. The facilities are modern, clean, and spacious, accommodating worshippers comfortably. The community at AIH is warm and inclusive, with regular events, Islamic lectures, and educational programs that benefit people of all ages. The Friday khutbahs are insightful and delivered in a way that deeply connects with the congregation. The mosque also plays an important role in fostering unity, offering youth activities, charity initiatives, and support services for the community. The management and volunteers do an excellent job of maintaining the masjid and ensuring it remains a hub for both religious and social gatherings. Subhanallah such a beautiful Masjid. The women section is lovely & secluded from the men’s entrance. Not very easy to go to with public transportation. I think going back is easier than coming to the masjid.
We visited Masjid Al-Bayt Al-Islami in Sydney and were truly touched by the experience. It’s a spacious and beautifully built mosque, perfect for families, with separate prayer areas for women. There’s plenty of parking, which made it easy to visit. The chandelier in the middle is stunning and adds to the peaceful vibe. We also offered two rakats Sunnah prayer, as the Prophet (PBUH) used to do when visiting a new mosque. This mosque has become one of the iconic mosques in Sydney, similar to Gallipoli Mosque.
