Jln Masjid Negeri, 10400 Ayer Itam, Pulau Pinang, Malaysia
Such a serene mosque. Not your everyday-mosque's architecture, unique in its own way. Also thumbs up to the mosque committees for helding various programs, seems they had successfully place this mosque as the centre of communities there.
Largest mosque in Penang. We asked to enter the mosque. We were provided with a large outfit to respect the customs of the place. The mosque is sublime both from the outside and the inside. The Muslim faithful are welcoming and come to meet us to chat and welcome us. Great experience.
Beautiful mosque with great facilities for both men and women There's someone at the front to tell you she to go for wudhu or prayer
It's mosque. It was beautiful even from bus Lol.
Masjid Negeri Pulau Pinang, completed in 1980, is the state mosque of Penang and a prominent Islamic landmark in George Town. Designed by architect Dato’ Ar. Y. B. M. Dato’ Haji Baharuddin Kassim, it blends modernist architecture with Islamic elements. The mosque accommodates thousands for prayers and serves as a key center for religious activities and education. Its spacious compound and striking gold dome make it both a spiritual and architectural icon of the state.
