65-67 Wangee Rd, Lakemba NSW 2195, Australia
Very beautiful and peaceful place inside. There is such a peaceful vibe to it. You immediately feel relaxed and comfortable. They do funeral services as well, and they sell juice outside in Ramadan. There are a few shops next door, and LMA is next door as well. Really nice, quiet, and peaceful place. Highly recommend visiting!
Love love love this Masjid.. Subhanallah beautiful friendly people.. made me feel so welcome.. home from home while visiting from the UK
One of the biggest mosque in Sydney City situated at Lakemba. Five time prayers along with Jummah and Tarawi prayers are being performed.
Lakemba Mosque, or the Masjid of Lakemba, is the first Masjid I entered in Australia. I did my Jumu'ah prayer there. At that time, the place where I stayed was not that far from the mosque. While I am still in Australia, I used to go here to pray. I would love to go to the Masjid to do prayers five times a day. Due to my obligations to write my doctoral thesis and considering my health in terms of the weather, also the time synchronisation that I needed to adapt, so I ended up doing my prayers at home. If only I had a vehicle to get around, I would certainly go to any Masjid in town often. Well, as an international student with a limited budget, I know that I need to be aware of my spending. Anyhow, the Masjid of Lakemba will always be the Masjid I remember for the rest of my lives, that I had prayed there. Alhamdulillah.
A nice and old mosque in the area with a women’s section.
