This home-based business has been around since 2021, serving up authentic halal African cuisine! The food offered primarily comes from West Africa (Nigeria, Ghana, Senegal, etc)! Here's what you should try based on what customers have been loving so far! ?

Okra Soup is a staple in West Africa. It's made with okra vegetables cooked in a delicious mixture of palm oil, shrimps, goat meat, fish, and African spices and simmered to perfection! It's simply comfort in a bowl - deliciously satisfying, nutritious, and is loaded with proteins and healthy fat. If you're looking for a quick, easy meal after a long day at work, this dish will promise you ultimate comfort and satisfaction ?

You can pair the soup with a doughy bread called Fufu. Fufu is a staple of West African cuisine you can easily serve with stews and soups to complete a delicious and satisfying meal. Traditionally made from cassava root and green plantains, it is a smooth, dense, soul-satisfying, and mild-flavored side dish that turns almost any dinner into finger food. Fun fact: you shouldn't actually chew through the fufu, you should swallow it! The reason why this is done so to allow a sensation of stomach fullness throughout the day ?

You can also eat your Fufu with Egusi Soup. The soup takes its name from egusi, or agushi―the seeds that both thicken and flavor it. Egusi soup typically features meat (such as beef, smoked poultry, goat, cow skin, and offal) and seafood (smoked dried fish or stockfish), as well as awara (Nigerian tofu), mushrooms, and greens. With such a hefty ingredient list, you can bet that each bite is a burst of rich flavours! It's a hearty dish that needs to be in your fridge now ?

Another signature dish you must try is Jollof Rice. Jollof Rice is a West African rice dish made with hot chili peppers along with tomatoes, African curry powder and a variety of herbs and spices to achieve fluffy, spicy rice fit perfect for any occasion. There's simply lots of flavour in Jollof rice, with hints of smokiness, spiciness and sweetness all over ?

Some dishes you can pair up your Jollof rice with are Plantain (sometimes referred to as a 'cooking banana'), and African-style Chicken Stew (an aromatic and flavorful dish made with a thick rich tomato-based sauce)! By the way, their Chicken Stew has received over 1000 glowing reviews, so you definitely need to add this to your order list!?

There's a lot more dishes you should try, so head on to their Pham African Kitchen's Instagram page and have a look! Isn't it great that we get to sample a unique cuisine like this in Singapore? ?

Halal status: We have reached out to them and they told us that all their ingredients are sourced from halal-certified suppliers, and that they are Muslim-owned as well.
