Situated in Bukit Bintang, just a 4-minute walk from Pavilion, it's time to plan a stay at KLoe Hotel! Opening on 1 March 2020, the hotel's name is a wordplay on 'Kuala Lumpur' and 'Chloe' - meaning 'tender, young shoot' in Greek. This boutique hotel certainly has style and aesthetics on their side and you can see it the moment you step into the lobby. From the semi-industrial touches to beautiful parquet floors and lounge furniture, it sure doesn't feel like you're in Kuala Lumpur at all.

KLoe Hotel has 80 rooms comprising standard and deluxe rooms complete with a view of the city or courtyard. If you're a fan of interior design, there are 5 themed Artist Lofts that are named after everyone's favourite way of indulgence: Room to Listen, Room to Read, Room to Draw, Room to Grow, and Room to Taste.

Room to Listen is the perfect hideaway for music lovers whose ideal day is listening to their favourite track to leave their worries behind. Complete with built-in sound system, vinyl turntable and lounge furniture, you can also find specially-curated records that will appeal to your music taste or at least, broaden your perspective to new sounds.

Room to Read is where book lovers can have their peace and quiet while getting lost between the pages. Drawing inspiration from independent bookstores, the room is sprawled with wooden furniture, stylish reading chair, and a shelf stocked up with books about art, culture, literature and anything in between. Don't forget to make yourself a cup of coffee with their in-room Nespresso machine.

Room to Draw is where to go to unleash the inner artist in you. Creatively designed with a cosy work studio, it's also equipped with brushes, watercolour, acrylic paint, canvas and sketchbooks to get you started on your next art piece. While you're likely to spend hours at the wooden drawing desk, remember to enjoy the comforts of its king-sized bed too.

The remaining Artist Lofts are Room to Grow and Room to Taste with vibes that are true to its name. Room to Grow is your little greenhouse that is decorated with terrariums, hanging plants, and rattan furniture. Room to Taste recreates the atmosphere of a private home kitchen complete with a communal dining table, cookbooks and a personal pantry. Cooking is not allowed, but the room has a kitchen counter packed with basic ingredients to prepare light snacks and thirst quenchers.

If you're in the mood for coffee, head downstairs to Lucky Coffee Bar, which is also the sister cafe of LOKL Coffee Co. in Masjid Jamek. Serving sandwiches, nitro drinks and pastries, it's a great place to hang out with your friends. As for their halal status, all meats and ingredients are sourced from halal-certified suppliers, and their cakes and pastries do not contain alcohol or gelatine.
