Perth Cultural Centre, Perth WA 6000, Australia
We visited the Art Gallery of Western Australia on the weekend and had a truly enriching experience. The gallery is spacious and well-organized, showcasing a diverse range of art across various styles and categories. From contemporary pieces to traditional Aboriginal artworks, the collection highlights both local talent and international artists. The exhibits are thoughtfully curated, offering insight into different cultural perspectives and artistic expressions. The gallery also features interactive displays and rotating exhibitions, making each visit unique. With its welcoming atmosphere and opportunities for learning, it’s a must-visit destination for art lovers in Perth..
An easy way to spend an hour or so. The museum has a range of artworks. Head to the rooftop to see a range of sculptures and art installations. A beautiful view over the city too. Heading down you can stop and admire the range of art work from both Australian and foreign artists.
A must-see while in Perth. Adjacent to the train station and easy to access. AGWA has a wonderful collection of Aboriginal, regional Australian, and modern art. I thoroughly enjoyed the guided tour and wandering around solo.
Impressive museum with both permanent collection works on display and beautifully curated special exhibitions. The sculpture garden on the top level has big name sculptors and offers stunning views of the city skyline.
Lovely peaceful art gallery with a diverse array of pieces. Joined a free tour (11am with Jill) and learned a lot of details you wouldn't otherwise know. Spent a happy couple of hours here.
