The displays at thebArt Gallery were beautiful.. The Spinifex People and their stories were reallly great.. BUT... You Have to go do the VR tour of the Kimberlys at the WA Museum... AMAZINGLY BEAUTIFUL... MUST SEE...

One of my favourite Perth City locations. It’s a really interesting with the WA Museum, State Library, Heath Ledger Theatre, PICA all offering world-class cultural opportunities. My wife and I feel safe. We most often visit late morning; have a coffee at the art gallery, browse a few rooms of the gallery for our cultural fix. Our recent visit was to “The Kimberley Experience”VR . FANTASTIC! Recommend it as a way to discover of our north-west. Absolutely beautiful, definitely a few hours out of you if you enjoy reading! So many different floors, interactive for children, they’ll love it! Lots of fun things to learn and see!

It will be interesting to see how this changes with the development works currently being undertaken. It is already a great spot to visit as its a gateway to so many interesting places.

Lovely area of the city with both free and paid attractions. Especially good for a cold day in winter, loads to see and do inside. Currently there's construction in the middle between the galleries and museums but the people working there are happy to help direct you where to go.
