We visited the Aquarium of Western Australia on a weekday, but as it was close to Christmas, it was quite crowded. Despite the crowd, the aquarium was impressively clean and well-maintained. The experience was fantastic, offering a chance to see a wide variety of fish and marine species up close. The underwater tunnel was a highlight, providing a unique perspective of sharks, rays, and other sea creatures swimming overhead. Interactive displays and informative exhibits added depth to the visit, making it enjoyable for both adults and children. It’s a must-visit attraction for anyone interested in marine life, offering both education and entertainment.

A really informative and interesting place. Paid for the glass bottom boat tour and was not disappointed. Beautiful coral, shark, ray and fish varieties on display in the general exhibits. The underwater tunnel was gorgeous and a real treat. Loved the kid-friendly touchpool where you can feel the starfish and Port Jackson sharks up close. The cafe inside also made it convenient to grab lunch and return to the exhibits thereafter.

Amazing experience and a fun day out. You can enjoy the aquarium, its awe inspiring species and then enjoy a walk outside with different food and drink outlets available.

AQWA is a great place for a family trip or anyone who loves the ocean! It’s informative, well laid out, and has a wide variety of sea creatures to explore. My personal favorite was the underwater tunnel. Walking through it felt like being inside the ocean, and the jellyfish section was absolutely mesmerizing. There’s also a small touch pool where you can gently interact with starfish and even a small shark. The gift shop has lots of cute items—I ended up getting a turtle necklace and a pair of earrings as souvenirs. Entry was AUD 35 for adults, and I also did the glass bottom boat ride for an extra AUD 10. Totally worth it for the extra experience and view of the marine life from above.

Really good aquarium with stunning scenery flowing through the plentiful things you could do. Recommended to bring kids for a fun day out, especially with food and interactive experiences near the end of the aquarium. Be warned, could be a bit crowded on some days and times so be sure to book in advance. Make sure to take photos to remember it.
