Amidst the bustling environment of the hospital, the prayer room stands as a true sanctuary—a place of peace and tranquility where one can find solace and connect with their heart. I am deeply grateful for this amazing space of prayer. The hospital has become a place I frequent, with moments of joy and sadness intertwined. It has been where I’ve faced the passing of loved ones, taken my children to Accident and Emergency, and stayed by their side during ward stays. In these experiences, the prayer room has been a constant source of comfort. It’s a space where both staff and patients come together in prayer, creating a serene and spiritual environment. The calmness, cleanliness, and even the presence of wudu facilities make it truly special. During moments of despair and a longing for direction, I’ve sought refuge there, finding peace and strength. I will never forget the privilege of leading a prayer there when my grandad was in the last stage of his life—a moment that will remain deeply etched in my heart. I can only say, Alhamdulillah. May Allah accept every prayer made in that sacred space. I am forever grateful for this blessing. I want everybody reading this to make a dua for me that one day I can come and do Khutbah for Salat ul Jumu'ah. I'm not there yet, but will be, by Allah's will.
