NYU Global Center for Academic and Spiritual Life, 238 Thompson St 4th Floor, New York, NY 10012, United States
A piece of calming place inside NYU. Thank you management for the privilege to allow outsider to pray jummah prayer. Special thanks for Islamic Center organiser
Took my Shahada here. The programs are amazing (especially during Ramadan). Great energy & the most welcoming community ever.
ICNYU is truly an outstanding community center that goes above and beyond in serving the Muslim community in New York. Their work, especially during Ramadan, is nothing short of admirable. From hosting daily iftar gatherings to organizing meaningful prayers and fundraising for noble causes, they create a welcoming space for everyone. The sense of community they foster is inspiring, bringing people together in a way that strengthens faith and unity. Their dedication to supporting those in need and providing a spiritual home for so many is truly commendable. May they continue to grow and benefit the community for years to come!
The Islamic Center at NYU has been one of my favorite places to attend Jummah prayers. There’s always a strong sense of community, and the khutbahs are insightful and meaningful. I especially enjoy staying after to listen to Imam Khalid, as his words always leave me with something to reflect on. I heard they’ve moved to a new location on 6th Avenue, and I’m looking forward to checking it out soon inshallah. It’s great to see the center growing and continuing to serve the community in such an impactful way.
On 4th floor, clean and beautiful view
