A funky place with spicy vegetarian/vegan options. As a vegetarian, I’ve been seeking restaurants that adapt normally meat-full dishes into vegetarian options, and this place fit the requirements. I got the calamari which was actually made of mushrooms. They were crispy, and the spices were awesome. Full of cumin and I love cumin. The rice cakes were saucy with hints of ginger. The rice cakes themselves were chewy, and I liked how many vegetables they added. The vegan sausage was also quite tasty. The crispy, almost burnt bits were the best.
Amazing flavors, it is addicting. The dry pepper style and mapo tofu have a slight numbing sensation as it is Sichuan style cuisine. The flavors and spice are absolutely delicious, highly recommended.
