cnr Stirling Hwy &, Avion Way, Claremont WA 6010, Australia
Very nice. Plenty of shops for the whole family. Covered areas. Only problem is parking as no long time permitted and parking officer always turning around to check. Parking expensive if you pay.
Claremont Quarter is a great shopping area. The shops, the cafes, the people all very very nice. Parking can at times be hard. The St Quentin Ave area is very cool. Again lovely people and with luck your lux ride can park right out front.
Times Square used to be really different and super. Some of the tsujz has gone out of this retail precinct, however, with a mix of retailers that is somewhat pedestrian. The bike shop/barber concept is fantastic. Overall something should be done to bring more light and life into this strip and one thing that might help is to encourage the retailers adjoining the Square to pull up their socks and try harder with branding. Sure, I know Sado Island is a big island, but the name does not translate well, does it? How about Sadogashima? That sounds less, well, 'sad'. そうじゃない?
I absolutely loved Gino's- a famous and long- standing cafe on Freo's cappucino strip!!! There's something about Winter- time in Freo that makes it an obligatory place to visit on a rainy or overcast Saturday or Sunday..( Fashionable wet weather gear is an optional extra).. Inside Gino's, there were plenty of tables with nice views towards the cafe strip, not to mention the outdoor seating... The service was warm and friendly.. the brunch and coffee was scrumptious!! I won't go into much more detail, I think it's better if you go and check it out for yourself!!??
