A stretch of about a dozen shops dealing in Tibetan handicrafts and artefacts for the tourists. It is located in the most premiere commercial location of Connaught Place, that too just adjacent to gate number one, next to 1911 Hotel Imperial, and opposite to Janpath metro station gate number two and three. The shops are displaying innumerable varieties of traditional Tibetan handicrafts and arts. The traders are simple honest people who are helpful in guiding the tourists to make their choices.

Good because they have a unique collection of quirky n pretty decor items. Bad because bargaining - not every one is good at it and even if you get a good price, you keep thinking you could have done better than that. There are a lot of eateries across the road because this is near cp in delhi. Some shops selling wooden masks had fun stuff but on closer inspection, I found the masks damaged or worn off. Can be bought if you prefer to work on those pieces once you get them home.

This market is not very big but many things are available here which you would never have seen before. But the things found here are very special, like historical mythological idol worship, many things like Tibetan stuff are available here. If you want something that is very rare and expensive, then you will find it here. There are a total of 10 to 15 shops in the Tibetan market, so you can buy goods from any shop. But here the rates are too high And they rob foreigners very well I want to tell foreigners that whatever they buy here, buy it very carefully because their only target is to rob foreigners like you.

Best place for buying real traditional things... Highly recommended for those who love handcrafted things..

must to visit , I visited there as Sunday market , not sure about other day ,you should bargain there
