Food is just excellent ! South and North Indian and Chinese dishes are available. People wait in line just to experience the ultimate taste of these dishes. Despite the crowd they serve bit fast. Waiting time for food is short after ordering. The ambience is good. We tasted some of their dishes North Indian thali - one cup of rice which was good. Naan pieces with Paneer butter masala curry, gravy, pickle, salad and papadam. All tasted good Poori and potato curry. 5 Poori medium size. Fluffy. Not much oily. Tasted best with the potato curry Masala paper dosai. Large size as usual. Crispy dosa. Mouth watering. Served with chutney and sambar. Podi idly 12 pieces. Very soft and delicious when consumed mixed with sambar and chutney Chai was ok. Served hot. Other meals were also served hot. Clean place. Safe to eat with affordable price Sweet items are also available but bit expensive Can enjoy the meal after finishing your tiring shopping at Janpath market Highly recommended if u r visiting Janpath

The ambience of the restaurant gives an authentic vibe. The food is delectable. And despite it being packed at the time, the service was quick and on point. I went there on a Friday afternoon to have lunch with my parents. We ordered an Idli chaat, Madras buttermilk, North Indian Deluxe Thali and Ginger Garlic Chilli Noodles. Highly recommended for someone who wants to eat South Indian, North Indian or Chinese cuisines.
The quality of the food was great. The quantity was very filling I recommend the south Indian thalis, chetinnad dosa and rasam. I spent around 300 per person , we all were full. Overall I really enjoyed it. I will definitely recommend
If you're a fan of South Indian cuisine, Sagar Ratna is a must-visit. With a large seating space that's perfect for both small groups and families, the ambiance is warm and inviting. The Ghee Roast Dosa was crisp, golden, and aromatic, served with a generous portion of chutneys and sambhar. Idli Chaat, was a creative dish combining fried idlis with dahi and chutneys —surprisingly delicious and worth trying. Their authentic chutneys and sambhar deserve a special mention. From coconut to tomato, each chutney is fresh and flavorful. The sambhar had variety and saagu was also served. Overall, this place offers a satisfying South Indian dining experience with great taste, and a clean, comfortable setting. Perfect for casual meals or family outings.
