Sunshine Square has become my go-to spot in Bayan Lepas, especially when I need a break from the Penang heat. The air conditioning is consistently excellent – a welcome escape from the tropical weather. What truly impresses me, though, are the elevators. They're incredibly fast and efficient; I never have to wait long, even during peak hours. While I appreciate the variety of shops and restaurants, the real star for me is the bowling alley. It's a fantastic space, well-maintained, and offers a great bowling experience. The only downside? It's a bit pricey. Still, if you're willing to splurge, it's definitely worth it for the fun atmosphere and quality lanes. Overall, Sunshine Square is a great place to spend time. Whether you're looking to cool down, grab a bite, or enjoy some entertainment, it has a lot to offer. Just be prepared to spend a little extra if you plan on hitting the lanes!

Sunshine Square is one of our favourite shopping destinations. This shopping mall is a wonderful place for grocery shopping. In conjunction with the popular Durian season currently in Penang, Sunshine Durian stall is opening in the new wing here, from 10am-10pm. They are selling all sorts of durian here, offer wide variety of for selection. For instance, Oh Chi, Musang King, Green Skin, Capri, Green Skin, Hor Loh, Red Prawn, Little Red, Lipan, D14, D11 etc… The durian sell here are very fresh and sent direct from Sunshine Durian Orchards. We enjoyed the durian purchased from this Durian stall, the durian taste great & Tauke is friendly. Here you can choose from the durian that are opened and wrapped nicely with price tagged on OR you can select the durian from the rack. Once selected your favourite durian from the rack, tauke will put on the scale to measure its weight and price on the spot! They offer free service to open the durian on the spot for you and packed with plastic containers that is nicely wrapped. You can pay by cash or pay by scanning the QR codes provided. For Durian lovers, Don’t miss the great opportunity to grab your favourite durian here, will definitely revisit again to purchase different durian in our next visit!
