The views of Penang were excellent and it was really accessible thanks to the friendly staff. I saw that locals were also enjoying themselves here, which is great. The downside is that the Tower seems to be a bit neglected, as demonstrated by the many closed shops in it and the attached malls. This is a real pity because in addition to the views and the locals, there is a dinosaur exhibit for the kids. A lot more money could be made by investing into something old rather than chasing the next shiny new thing.

A good place to add to your Penang itinerary. If you are booking a combo ticket make sure that you are there early as most of the attractions are closed by 5pm.. The tower is open and on the way you can have a good view of the bay and on the Top you have a cafe and post sunset after the lights are on you can have good pictures over the skywalk. It’s worth for a cool evening.
