188-196 Regent St., London W1B 5BT, United Kingdom
An amazing store that felt like stepping into a childhood dream. The staff were fantastic, showing me so many amazing toys—I wanted to buy them all. You can find almost anything here. The store has six floors, plus a basement filled with Harry Potter merchandise. Absolutely in love with this place!
Hamley's flagship store on Regent Street is considered to be the largest and oldest toy store in the world, with 7 floors of all sorts of toys, games, and crafts that you can imagine! There are toys for all ages, and as you can imagine, it's quite overwhelming to shop even for me. it is London’s premiere toy store. Established in London in 1760 (yup, that's old!) on Regent Street in the West End, Hamleys is very much like the old-time toy stores where workers demonstrated and displayed various toys to customers as part of the overall shopping experience Hamleys is so much more than ‘just a shop'. As soon as you walk into the store, you'll be greeted by seven floors of wonder. Everywhere you look, there are toys out for you to try out and watch. You can catch live demos of the most exciting toys and games. There are also regular in-store events where they get superheroes and cartoon characters to greet the kids. There is everything that you imagine in toys and a little more. You can play, you can participate, you can have fun as if you were still a kid; it's a special and perfect place. Since it's almost always raining in the city, this is the perfect place to spend the day.
A really nice, and big toy store. The store offers a wide variety of kid's toys, with very nice displays, and interior design. Some toys can be played with before buying. The service was excellent, the staffs were all friendly, and helpful. But unlucky for us, the store didn't have jellycat products when we came. Toilets for customers are available.
Hamleys – A Toy Wonderland! Visited Hamleys with my dad because he was curious—and it blew us away! It’s like every kid’s dream, with five packed floors full of toys, games, and fun displays. It honestly felt like climbing Mount Everest, but there's a lift if needed. The LEGO figures were incredible, and there’s even a Build-A-Bear inside. It's definitely on the expensive side, but the experience makes it worth every penny. A must-visit if you’re in London!
Fun place for toy shopping! Lots of cool demonstrations, and a great variety of toys. You can reach all levels by stairs, escalators, and a lift. Really helpful employees who offer suggestions based on what you're looking for. Check out the yummy gelato near the entrance, it was great! If you see her, tell Phil "Hi" for me, she made a fantastic mint chip shake for me. ☺️
