Despite rocking up at 950pm, the staff were super accommodating and agreed to feed us even though kitchen shuts at 10pm! Super friendly and delicious. We went with their superb recommendations, charred broccoli, flat iron hummus (super generous portion of steak!), fried chicken and the showstopping butter chicken kebab. Every morcel was delicious and we left very full with great non alcoholic drink options too! All at a very reasonable less than £60! Highly recommend.
Le Bab Soho offers an exquisite gourmet kebab experience in London that both feels upmarket, yet is still reasonably priced. Tucked away on the second floor of Kingly Court by Carnaby Street, this hidden gem is well worth seeking out. Our group enjoyed a fantastic spread, including the Loaded Fries, the Dirty Bab, Hummus, and Halloumi. The standout dish was undoubtedly the Dirty Bab — a masterfully crafted kebab where the lamb was cooked to perfection, tender and rich in flavour, with the pickled cucumbers adding a refreshing contrast. Their signature fondue sauce was the true highlight, tying the dish together beautifully. The Loaded Fries were equally impressive — crisp, flavourful, and well-seasoned, definitely being large enough to share a portion between 2 or even 3 as a side. The hummus was fresh and tasteful, adding a delightful complement to the meal. Unfortunately, the Halloumi didn't quite meet expectations. Priced at £9 for a small portion, it felt a little underwhelming and too small to offer real value as a side. Service was excellent throughout. Our waitress was attentive, friendly, and happy to recommend dishes. Once finished, the QR code payment system made splitting the bill — either by dish or as a percentage of the total — incredibly quick and convenient. Overall, Le Bab Soho offers a memorable dining experience with outstanding food, fantastic service, and an inviting atmosphere. We would highly recommend it
Good reliable food and good options of non alcoholic beer and cocktails. Service was great. We had the salad bowls and the kale was perfectly crunchy. Highly recommend the: ? lamb adana or chicken ? pistachio kulfi The place is extremely loud so you'll need to shout even in a group of three but it was a fun vibe.
Ideal spot for lunch. Enjoyable meal, food was tasty, menu had a few different options that I would come back for. Service was good, price was very reasonable. I went solo and had a nice spot by the window overlooking the courtyard area. Wouldn't recommend for a dinner but definitely ideal for lunch.
I had the best time here. The restaurant was cute, the waitress was really lovely and friendly, and the food was delicious. I recommend the flat iron hummus (my favourite), the smoked honey halloumi and the butter chicken kebab. It said on Google that Le Bab was started by chefs who previously worked in a Michelin star restaurant and honestly you can really tell in the food, it’s incredibly well made. I’ll defo come again.
