Very busy at midday when I visited. Could not access top car park, ramp closed off, from the bottom carpark. You need to go via Cornwall Street entrance as bottom carpark was full. Went into Target got what I was after had a enjoyable mini kebab at the shop that's been there forever, and left.
Buranda village is the best shopping centre around Brisbane. All the people running the shops around here are amazing and so easy to get along with. Shout out to the guy in the centre management office (I think his name was Phil). Went up to give feedback about something in the centre and ended up having a wonderful conversation with him. I always come here even if I'm not around the area.
Buranda Village is a handy local shopping centre that offers a good range of stores and services, making everyday errands easy and convenient. The mix of shops, dining options, and ample parking means it’s a comfortable spot to pop into for groceries or a quick meal. While it’s currently being redeveloped to become even better, it still serves the community well and feels welcoming for a casual visit.
Buranda Village does have parking spaces available which is a great bonus. To be honest there is something tired and oldworldy about it . I don't really need everything to wow and lure me with shiny expensive designer features and fittings. What i find encouraging is watching the colourful exotic unusual unique amazing people shoppers. It allows me time to reflect on my understanding of culture, gender, of art ,of alternative ways of living and dressing and self expression. If only I had their courage and self confidence. So in summary, it is a great place to people gaze.
