Welcome is probably the best culinary surprise in Riccarton. Entirely vegan ! Best asian fusion choice in city. Don’t be put off by average looking outside or even more rusty and seasoned indoors. The food is worth it ! Food is yummy, fresh and delicious and affordable prices. There are so many options to choose from that it will take you months to try everything they. We have been going there regularly for the past few years and it’s our favourite Friday take away spot. Everything is worth a try depending on your taste. Our choice is hot plate eggplant with tofu and tofu mashed balls with veggies - never disappointed. It’s a family run business, owner is very friendly and accommodating. Place is very popular on weekends especially among students due to nearby university campus.

I will always love this place. If you can get over the fact it feels like having a feed at your nans in 1984, then you'll enjoy the food. Proper vegetarians will dig the food, especially the tofu. Veggies are always fresh and the old fella is always polite. It's old school but it's good. If you're an old fashioned vegetarian or vegan, you'll enjoy the food. Bok choy, broccoli, carrots, mushroom, tofu etc with rice, noodles, satay and the rest. I love the food here. Weird favourite of mine is the ginger brown rice!

Big portions. The wife and I ordered two small dishes (only one dish shown in photo) and a large ginger rice to share and we were stuffed. Good flavors. We’re not vegetarian but both love vegetables and this really hit the spot. Note that it’s cash only.

It's so nice to have a vegetarian place like this. I'm glad I got to try it. I do think the owner needs a new system to take credit cards because it's an inconvenience to customers. But the food was lovely.

Difficult to convey how awesome this restaurant is. We ordered a tofu goreng, wontons, fried rice, and bbq bun. Everything was delicious, large, very well priced, and quick. My new favourite restaurant in Christchurch.
