Beautiful cafe! I had the seafood chowder, and it was perfect for a cloudy, windy day. The chowder was warm enough to sit outside, and it was the best I’ve ever had! Lovely staff, tasty meal.. I’ll def be a regular! Highly recommend??

This is honestly one of the best cafés in Christchurch. Everything we ordered was amazing—fresh, tasty, and beautifully presented. The coffee was also really, really good! What impressed me most is that even with rising food prices these days, they still manage to keep both the quality and portion sizes at a high level. As someone who goes to cafés a lot, I’ve noticed many places have dropped in quality, but not this one. Their prices are similar to other cafés, but the food here is way more generous and well-made. And I have to say—the staff were all incredibly warm and friendly. Every single one of them made us feel so welcome. Huge thanks to the chef and the whole team for such a lovely experience. I’ll definitely be back, and I’ll be telling my friends to check it out too!

A cozy place with excellent food. Everything at top noche and good value. One of the best meals I had amid my visit in NZ. Must visit in Christchurch and you may consider making a reservation.

Busy inner surburban cafe/restaurant. Service staff were friendly but loud - yelling across the room to ask a colleague about the menu or a waitress chatting with the table next to us so loud we couldnt hear ourselves talk as her voice like a hammer pounding the side of my head. The food was yummy but I certainly wouldnt go back for the mediocre coffee.
