Had the pleasure of dining at my cousin's restaurant, truly nostalgic! The home-cooked food was delicious, full of flavor and love! My cousin has done an amazing job preserving our family's culinary past, and I'm grateful for her dedication and passion. It brought back memories of my late father and aunt, who would have been so proud to see their niece carrying on our family's culinary heritage. More than just a meal, it was a special moment catching up with my beautiful Aunt Mary too! Thank you so much, Aunt Mary, and dear cousin, for your love and warmth! ❤️❤️
If you're looking for an unforgettable dining experience, Tina Kitchen's is an absolute must-visit! The food here is nothing short of spectacular, and each dish feels like a warm embrace from home. The *Nasi Ulam* is a standout – bursting with fresh herbs and perfectly balanced flavors that transport you straight to the heart of traditional Malaysian cuisine. But the real gem on the menu is the *Stink Beans Omelette* – a unique, bold, and utterly delicious dish that packs a punch with its rich flavors. It's the kind of dish that has you craving more with every bite. What really sets Tina Kitchen’s apart, though, is the impeccable service. The staff is friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about making sure every guest has a great experience. You can truly feel the care and attention that goes into the food – it’s like enjoying a meal cooked by family. The home-cooked vibe makes it even more special, with every dish prepared to perfection. If you want a cozy, authentic experience with food that speaks to the soul, Tina Kitchen’s is the place to be!
5 stars! Tina’s Kitchen is a true hidden gem in Georgetown, Penang! What makes this place so memorable is the personal touch — Tina cooks all the dishes herself, and both she and her lovely mother, Mary, are the warm and gracious hostesses. The atmosphere felt intimate and welcoming, like being invited into someone's home. The food was a standout — rich, aromatic flavours in every dish, all beautifully presented. You can tell each plate is prepared with heart and heritage. This is authentic, soulful cooking at its best. A must-visit for anyone who loves genuine, home-style meals.
Before I came to George Town I looked up best dinner in Penang and then highest rated. Tinas kitchen was at the top of the list, so we decided to go there. It did not disapoint. From the moment we arrived we were welcomed and thoroughly shown the amazing menu. We decided on the pork lor bak...Yum and the amazing Mary's cream cheese rangoons which is also amazing. For the mains we had the Kapitan Curry, Nyonya Nasi Ulam and the Assam Tumis Stingray (which we are not a fan of seafood but wow, it's like chicken of the sea) So much passion goes into her meals and it shows. Thankyou Tina and your amazing staff for the best meal we have ever had. Hey Michelin you are missing an opportunity here. Coming back tomorrow.
We patiently waited a few minutes for our table and we were so happy we did. The staff and the food were absolutely worth the wait! Lorbak, steam yam, rangoons, nasi ulam came highly recommended to us so we will continue to recommend too! Tina even came over to table and introduced herself and made sure the experience was exactly what she hoped for.
