The Chinese Library is a standout destination for anyone who loves modern takes on traditional cuisine. Their dim sum is nothing short of exceptional, blending time-honored flavors with innovative techniques and stunning presentation. Every dish we ordered was a masterpiece, showcasing the culinary expertise behind each bite. This is not just a meal—it’s an experience that redefines what dim sum can be. The restaurant itself is absolutely gorgeous, combining a refined aesthetic with a welcoming atmosphere. The ambiance perfectly complements the sophistication of the menu, making it an ideal spot for a memorable meal, whether you’re dining with friends, family, or colleagues. Every detail, from the decor to the service, contributes to a seamless experience that feels both luxurious and inviting. To round out the evening, the bar next door is an absolute gem. With its chic vibe and expertly crafted cocktails, it’s the perfect place to start or finish your visit. The combination of excellent food, stunning surroundings, and a fabulous nearby bar makes The Chinese Library a must-visit. I can’t recommend it highly enough—it’s an experience you won’t want to miss.

Beautiful restaurant, service is welcoming. Dim sum and mains are delightful, we ordered the set lunch over a business meal, and it was the perfect amount for everyone. My personal highlight was the soup with scallop and dumpling. In the photos it looks the most unappetising but the broth was strong with flavour, the dumpling had good chunks of prawn and the scallop was juicy. Dessert was meh. Great place for dates/meetings.

Food was very delicious, resto had gorgeous ambiance, and servers were very attentive and helpful. On the pricey side but I feel like it was worth it. Enjoyed our food which included the following standouts: juicy Peking duck, extremely tender char siu, and crispy chicken. Their dimsum platter could be improved on, though—it was a bit boring and quite unusual. But the extremely high quality of the other dishes I mentioned makes the resto very deserving of 5 stars. Just a tad disappointing that although it was a cold winter night when we dined, we wanted to eat outdoors for the cultural immersion, view, and fresh air, but we were told their alfresco seating wasn’t big enough to accommodate our group of 8 adults.
