When in London, it's almost iconic to fancy a curry. At first, we dismissed this option when searching on Google because it seemed perhaps a bit gimmicky with the wraps and burgers, especially in a highly touristed area. But like classic tourists we're hungry in between regular restaurant lunch and dinner hours. So when the place we decided on was closing we stumbled on this spot on our way to pick up snacks at Waitrose. What a surprising delight. From the welcome that lured us in as we checked the menu outside, the outstanding service, the perfectly spiced masala chai, and the food....oh the food. My fella loves spicy food but rarely finds it spicy enough. He ordered the phaal and loved it. He was warned twice, and the chef had to come take a look at him (I'm used to the spectacle after 27 years with his impenetrable taste buds). I had the dansak, which was mildly spicy and flavorful. Happy accident!

Went here on our first night and we loved it. We had read so much about their burgers that we had to try them. I strongly recommend you trying their Smash burger. Great meat, sauce, hot bun and amazing fries. The staff are lovely, super welcoming and they offer great food at affordable prices. We’ll be back to try their Indian specialties!

We had a great time at the restaurant. Not only the food is yummy, the service is fantastic! Price is reasonable too, esp. consider the location of this cute restaurant. Just one of those many highlights during our stay in London. Highly recommended, when you are in this awesome city & in the neighbourhood.

Nice small India restaurant near Russel Square in London. The choices are limited, but cover most India cuisine categories. I ordered grilled lamb plate and a small bottle of India Cobra beer. The lamb tasted good, but a little bit dry. The onion and green pepper came with were good. I Sat outside, which I think was much better than indoor. The waiter was great.. good service. Customers are both locals and tourists.
