14 Nurses Walk, The Rocks NSW 2000, Australia
We stumbled across this restaurant walking through The Rocks and wow, what a find. Excellent in every way - food, service and atmosphere. The food was so tasty. They also have an outdoor bar area which is beautifully decorated. It’s tucked away in an alley, perfect for escaping the @vividsydney crowds. Very decently priced also. 10/10. Will be back for sure.
A hidden gem of a restaurant nestled in Nurses Walk in amongst the Laneways of The Rocks in Sydney . Highly recommend to anyone visiting. Fabulous and attentive staff, fantastic food and a great ambient atmosphere make for a Gastronomic sensation. The Chefs Banquet is the perfect showcase for the food that is served up here and is authentic and tasty, believe me, I’ve travelled in the Middle East and chef here has it spot on. We turned up ‘on spec’ and luckily there was a table for two available and we were looked after by the attentive staff form the moment we entered until the time we left. If you still have room left after the Chefs banquets try one of the desserts, we had the pie and WOW ! $89 pp for the banquet plus a couple of drinks each came in at around $280 well worth it. That is all ❤️
Lovely restruant that is well hidden in the rocks. We ordered a range of their signature cocktails which were very nice, well balanced. The mezze shared plates and mains were simple yet done well. Good selection of vegetarian options to cater for your dietary requirements.
Such a cozy restaurant to eat at. Very low-key and hidden in the heart of the rocks. The food was really tasty and was decently priced for where the restaurant is situated. My boyfriend and I really liked the comfortable atmosphere, food, and the friendly service. We would definitely come back sometime soon.
As a photographer exploring The Rocks in Sydney, I stumbled upon a hidden gem—Tayim. The restaurant’s breathtaking ambiance perfectly complements its Mediterranean-inspired menu. I enjoyed the warm, freshly baked Frena bread with rich carrot dip and cashew muhammara, as well as the smoky grilled eggplant dip with roasted garlic. The butterflied Skull Island tiger prawn with vadouvan butter and curry leaf was a standout, and the charcoal-grilled S. Kidman Wagyu sirloin was simply exceptional. A must-visit for anyone who appreciates great food and atmosphere!
