Definitely a hidden gem Indian Restaurant in Penang! Highly recommended. We had their banana leaf rice set with basmati rice, tauhu sambal, coconut chicken, varuval chicken & teh tarik. So tasty & flavourful! Coconut Chicken was mind blowing delicious & a must try. Food was served all fresh, service was good, friendly staffs, restaurant was clean and spacious. Would definitely return. Price was on the high side but worth it. Parking quite difficult.
Located in Georgetown area, restaurant offers great Indian food. When we arrived, we were greeted by a large dining area which is cozy and minimalistic with nice wall paintings. We ordered the mutton varuval, butter chicken, and eggplant pachadi, and chicken 65 and a few more things. All were great. The mutton is tender and well seasoned. The spices were flavourful. We love the eggplant pachadi the most. The flavours were well balanced and the citrusy acidity was so refreshing. Food portion is small for the price. The price is a little steep. It's just not a meal for everyday. Parking is limited around here.
This is a cozy and inviting restaurant. My appetite was immediately stimulated upon entering. The establishment is well maintained, and the staff were attentive and professional. The food was served warm and was delicious. I would highly recommend this restaurant to others and look forward to returning. We ordered the chicken biryani and sardine claypot rice, both of which were excellent. To top it off, it was a beautiful, rainy Sunday.
