We chose Jess as our caterer for our wedding banquet. She first initiated the meet up with us for a food tasting at a restaurant. The food served was exceptionally delicious and also very unique. Our favorite was the 36 hour slow cooked beef cheeks, which were extremely juicy, tender and could break apart by just using a spoon. During the banquet, every single person enjoyed the dinner and had only good things to say with regards to the dinner.

Had catered food from Shiok at an event. Portions were generous, and pricing was reasonable for the spread provided. The table decor was simple and festive. Cutlery provided was more than sufficient for the number catered. The menu offered good variety given the reasonable price point and the food flavors were bold. The carb dishes were surprisingly good and the noodles in particular, were great. The curry chicken and spicy tofu, may be too spicy for some, leading to leftovers. The chicken from the curry was tender and moist, but the tofu leaned on the dry side. Unfortunately, the cereal fish and seaweed chicken were overfried and salty, which was disappointing for an otherwise above average menu. Dessert also leaned a bit too sweet. Overall, a mix of hits and misses, but still a caterer worth considering for future events.

Catered for our office’s Hari Raya lunch celebration and we were very happy with our lunch :) Mr Athir did a very pretty set up and was very prompt on delivery too. Ms Teng Yu Tong assisted us very closely on our food order and it is our second festive food order with her :) Ordered for 20-25 pax and the portion size was amazing. Highly recommend the Baked Fish Fillet with Laksa Cream! Everyone wiped the fish out! :)

I would like to thank Shiok Kitchen for being able to cater during my Father's Funeral. I can't express how grateful we are for the service they did. It was more than excellent. Chung Ming and Mark gave best service that they could offer. The food was beyond delicious. We were not able to take a lot of photos due to being busy during the funeral, but I would say this is the best catering that we have experienced. Thank you so much for making our father's funeral special. ??????
