Rocky Ella is an absolute gem! From the moment we stepped in, we were captivated by the beautiful ambiance, which perfectly complemented the top-notch service and delightful food. Every dish that came out of the kitchen was presented beautifully—an absolute feast for the eyes before it even touched our taste buds. The portions were just right—generous yet balanced, ensuring a satisfying experience for each guest. The cocktails were another highlight, whistling beautifully as they were served, and they were crafted to perfection—kudos to the bartender for his expertise! A special mention to Mr. Thamara, the owner, who was incredibly friendly and down-to-earth, making us feel truly welcomed. Chinthaka, who heads the F&B team, was exceptional, managing the staff seamlessly while paying close attention to every detail. Buddhi also did a fantastic job, contributing to the overall outstanding service. I visited Rocky Ella with my American guests, and they were absolutely impressed by both the food and the prompt service. We’re already looking forward to returning to explore more of the menu. This place is highly recommended—if you haven’t been yet, you definitely should!

We had the absolute pleasure of dining at Rocky Cafe Ella for both lunch and dinner during our Ella visit, and I can confidently say it was one of the most memorable food experiences we've ever had! The grilled lobsters and jumbo prawns were perfectly seasoned, incredibly fresh, and grilled to perfection. Every bite was bursting with flavour, and you could truly taste the quality and care put into each dish. The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely passionate about what they do. From the moment we walked in, we felt welcome and well taken care of. Whether it was lunch or dinner, the service remained consistently outstanding. Special thanks to Rocky Cafe team. To our delight, there was a live singing performance that added so much charm and warmth to the evening. If you're visiting Ella and looking for top-notch food, a relaxed atmosphere, and outstanding hospitality, Rocky Cafe is an absolute must. We'll definitely be back!

Beautiful food and drinks. The live musicians provided the perfect ambience in the bar, that sits up above Ella road. Harshana took great care of us and made sure we had everything we needed! Definitely call in here while you are in Ella.
