The food is exquisite. I’ve been in Sri Lanka several months and I’ve not tasted anything as good as this. “Rice and Curry” is too humble a title for this feast of delights in a single meal. The aubergine dish was extraordinary. Everything was fresh and hot (a rare experience in SL). The curd and kithul was very refreshing, with quality Ceylon tea to finish it off. This is an awesome family-run restaurant. I can’t recommend it too highly. Thank you for such a delicious meal on such a special day, Easter Sunday. Superb!

Delicious food and internet that actually works! We visited this place on 4 different occasions during our stay in Ella. We wanted to eat sri Lankan food rather than burgers, pizza, or fish and chips offered in places around. The portions were huge! We loved it.

Really tasty curries, we had the chicken curry and would definitely recommend. The service was lovely and is run by the family.. we even had refills of the curry and dhall. Good view over the street so you can people watch too!

Great experience (I’m a harsh critic). Calm ambience - it was quiet, some music would have been nice. Service was relaxed and friendly. The food was great. We had the vegetable (vegan) curry and rice dish. Good size. I think we got extras because we didn’t take any meat option. The eggplant was delicious. The flavours were great - some salty, some spicy, some sweet, some zesty. Very comfortable.
