From all vegan restaurants in Pattaya I choose this one, and was really surprised. Great assortment and delicious vegan food. I was satisfied at one hundred percentage. Location is also good. Highly recommended for all true vegans!
Quick service with plenty of delicious options to choose from. Was situated in this location for work for a couple of weeks and visited often, really reminded me of home (Malaysia). Vibrant flavours ? highly recommended. The vege crispy pork and penang curry was my favourite!
Coming to Pattaya as a vegan initially left me disappointed in terms of food. I wasn't able to easily locate a vegan restaurant specialising in Thai cuisine. The closest alternative for vegan food was the Indian vegetarian restaurants which are in abundance. Raan Thummachat is an absolute gem that's a short drive from Pattaya Central. The restaurant is hygienic and air conditioned and the food is absolutely amazing and very reasonable. The chefs have presented a vegan version of traditional Thai dishes. Even though it's marketed as a vegetarian establishment, almost everything is vegan friendly. You can order from the menu and also opt for the cooked meals on display. They also sell vegan cooking supplies such as vegan fish sauce and vegan chili paste.
This is my favorite vegan/vegetarian spot in Pattaya! Why? First the location. It's convientely off north pattaya round. It's not too far from Pattaya Klang. There's a bit or parking across the road, but I drive my motorbike there so I just drop my bike off out front. Second is the food. It's all เจ that's vegetarian. เจ is a buddhist sect that eats vegetarian but no garlic and onions. The food here is good. You won't go wrong with anything. I like the duck noodle soup and khao soi a lot. They also have rice with dishes. The dishes are good and often I take food home. I like the seaweed they have there. They also sell a bunch of fake meat and other products to bring home. Even ice cream for those of you with sweet tooths. Third is the price. It's not expensive. Soup goes for about 60 baht. Dishes with rice are the same. You can get a day's worth of food there for like 300-400 baht. Four is the staff. They are all very nice. I've been going there for years now and the staff is polite and accommodating. The restaurant expanded a few times in the last few years. They now have an air conditioned inside area. The hours are mainly day time so it's great for lunch and to stock up for dinner. Would highly recommend.
