1 Chome-12-2 Tamachi, Kita Ward, Okayama, 700-0825, Japan
A small and very nice gem of a restaurant in downtown Okayama, hidden in a side street. Restaurant's focus is in tofu, perfect if you are looking for a vegetarian option in Okayama. A wide variety of (lightly or strongly) grilled and seasoned tofu dishes are served, next to a nice selection of drinks. The menu is in Japanese only, so bring your Google translate :-) Well worth a try, we will definitely come back to try the Tofu Gyoza, the garlic tofu and the different deserts.
Beautiful people and delicious food! We came here quickly looking for vegetarian food and we are delighted. Nice atmosphere, nice place, really tasty food. Even children (4 and 6 years old) said it was one of the coolest places they had ever been to. This is our 5th time in Japan and one of the most delicious places. Thank you for your hospitality. どうもありがとうございま! ^^
It's all so tasty ??? this restaurant alone justifies a trip to Okayama. The staff is super friendly, speaks English and clearly points out which dishes are vegetarian and which ones are not. Unfortunately our stomachs were not big enough, otherwise we would have ordered the whole menu, it all sounds so good. Everything is freshly prepared and all dishes come with an interesting twist, many of the flavors, textures and combinations I had not tried before. Even the plates are selected carefully, they are beautiful and it's a pleasure to eat from them. The atmosphere in the restaurant is very cozy and homey. If I lived in Okayama I would definitely be a regular here.
Genuinely one of the best meals we have had in japan after 2 weeks, lots of veggie options too. The mapo tofu was 10/10, so many flavours.
