444 Phaya Thai Rd, Wang Mai, Pathum Wan, Bangkok 10330, Thailand
We recently had dinner in this Thai & Chinese restaurant located just across Fuku Matcha inside MBK Mall. They offer a vegetarian menu option which was fantastic. The service was prompt and efficient & the foods we ordered were delicious.
The vegetarian food is excellent, the staff is very friendly. As in the rest of Thailand, people are very cultured and always smiling.
I ordered one stir-fried crispy pork with basil and rice & one seafood tomyam soup. The crispy pork is really crispy and flavourful with the aroma of basil leaves. The long beans was a bit undercooked by Chinese cuisine standard, but I believe it was about right for most indigenous southeast Asia cuisines where many people eat veggies raw. The seafoods of the tomyam soup, especially the prawns and squids were slightly overcooked, giving a little bit rubber-like mouth feel. As both dishes were charged about 200 baht each, I would expect slightly better quality, but given the staffs here can communicate with English smoothly, the place is still not a bad choice for first-time tourists.
The Glanga curry was good, but, , first time i see a Thai restaurant that don’t serve rice with curry. Also they have expensive prices
How this place only had a 3.9 rating at the time of writing this is beyond me. Luckily, I didn't check reviews before eating. I've been here 2 days in a row because the food is so good. This is coming from someone who has been to Thailand 6 times.
