MBK center ชั้นG (G Floor) โซนB (ZoneB Phaya Thai Rd, Wang Mai, Pathum Wan, Bangkok 10330, Thailand
Don't know that it's Halal restaurant. Taste better than expect but not as spicy as it should be. Big size deep fried fishsauce sea bass. Very nice seafood sauce. Steam crab sold out. Quite small restaurant. Good price, 8 persons I pay for around 4000.
My friends and I visited Chaolay for lunch while we were at MBK after looking through all the options available there, and we were far from disappointed. The food was GREAT! We ordered a few dishes to be shared between us, including the fried sea bass (with sweet and sour sauce, if not mistaken), tom yum soup, cashew chicken and the fried calamari! The sea bass was big and the sauce was well-balanced in terms of sweetness and sourness. The tom yum was refreshing, though we hoped the ingredients could be a little more, the cashew chicken was crispy although coated in the sauce and the calamari was soft while crispy. The portions were really big for what the dishes were priced at, making it a good deal! The staff were also really friendly and attentive! We really enjoyed our meal here, and it definitely should be on your list of restaurants to visit in Bangkok, whether or not you are looking for halal options! Can’t wait to be back here again ?
Halal food restaurant located strategically in MPK shopping center in the heart of Bangkok, Thailand. It is located in the mall so it’s packed and very popular, particularly since it serves various Thailand cuisines and Halal food. We came here with a group of seven, and we had a wonderful dinner. We ordered deep fried fish, wrapped in leaves, fresh, chopped chili, and onions, and special sauce, as well as Tom, Yum, fish cake, stirfry, vegetables, and crab meat cake. We also order the rice, Thai tea, lemon grass and butterfly pea tea and desserts, like coconut pudding. We wanted to order mango sticky rice, but they are running out of it because it’s very popular. The entrance is accessible, wheelchair - user friendly. The dining room is a bit packed but it can accommodate many, including those with wheelchairs. The toilets are located in the mall area, including for ♿️. Parking spaces are also provided by the mall.
I seldom see halal restaurants in Bangkok, so it's nice to see that they have a few in a mall. This place has nice seafood dishes. Good tomyam soup, nice fried fish. Everything was delicious. ? Can come again and try something else ?
Excellent service from the waitresses. Prompt! Food was authentic thai and delicious and fresh. Located inside the MBK mall ground floor. They serve halal food with no Alcohol or pork on the premises. Portion sizes of fish is huge. Would definitely recommend and visit again soon.
