After hunting for some more veggie friendly restaurants we finally found this absolute gem. Located on the 4th floor, this farm to plate style restaurant caters very well to vegetarians & vegans. The menu is in Japanese but we managed fine with Google Translate. There are 2 sizes of salad bowl, the smaller one isn't refillable but to be fair I got a lot in the smaller one! I also had the grilled salmon (not pictured because I ate it too fast), the sweet potato with blue cheese and the ice cream of the day. I can't remember what flavour they told me it was but it was absolutely delicious. The staff are very friendly and the restaurant itself is lovely. We were also given some free green tea which was delicious. Absolutely recommend, especially for vegans and vegetarians.
That was the most exquisite raw veggie experience I've ever had! Thank you for such a wonderful culinary adventure. After indulging in carb-heavy dishes for several days in Tokyo, I sought out this place specifically for a refreshing salad. At first, when I approached the salad bar and saw raw mushroom, eggplant, and yam, I was a bit skeptical, especially since I'd never tried raw eggplant before. However, when encouraged by the lady in the kitchen, I decided to give it a try. I'm so grateful I did because the eggplant turned out to be sweet and tender, a pleasant surprise indeed. It was truly a wonder! I was equally impressed by the yam and mushroom, especially when paired with the irresistible sesame oil and miso dressing. In addition to the salad, I also ordered curry with grilled veggies, which was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. The addition of yuzu at the end of the meal was the perfect finishing touch. I highly recommend this place to anyone seeking a memorable dining experience. Just remember, it's best to arrive at least an hour before closing time to ensure the kitchen is still open.
Delightful meal full of vegetables we also had the mackerel which was cooked to perfection. Service was excellent ambience was quiet. We had a sweet potato for dessert which is naturally beyond sweet, what a pleasant surprise.
At street level, face the elevators and take the one on the left to the 4th floor. We had made a reservation online in advance, so on arrival, we didn't have to join the line of people waiting to have their weekend lunch. We had a time limit of 1.5 hours. Order by scanning the provided QR code. I ordered the vegetable curry, which is vegan, and opted for a bigger serving of rice, at no extra charge. There are other options to change up your order, some require extra charge, some don't. I also went for the unlimited salad bar option. Ordering salad bar only is also an option. My veggie curry was delicious, especially the grilled vegetables. The salad bar looked small, but the selection changed as the items were eaten up, and they were all fresh and delicious. There was a selection of salts and dressings, too. My only concern was the plastic cutting board that was being used to cut the salad items. I hope the restaurant will inform themselves about the latest information concerning plastic cutting boards and microplastics, and consider switching to cutting boards of a different material. The staff were all very efficient and professional. The setting was very comfortable, too, with a nice atmosphere and different types of seating. It's a good place to go if there are vegan and non-vegans in the group. Payment by card or cash at the cash till.
