A modest establishment specialising in Sri Lankan cuisine in the heart of Kurosakicho Kita-ku market but that an amazing experience! The food reminded me of my mom's home cooked chicken so what more can I say. The warmth of the owner Mr. Rajapakshe's hospitality needs to be acknowledged, what a kind guy! Food choice is limited but who cares when you have such delicious dishes to try! Please do try and visit if you are in that area. Added bonus, there is a kid's playground right next with a couple of beautiful cherry trees which were in bloom when I visited (pics added). All in all an excellent experience, close to the Osaka museum of housing and living.

We walked in and asked them to prepare something vegan for us and they brought out two plates full of delicious curries and coconut chutney. Lovely owners, great service and good Sri Lankan food. They have a small soup when waiting for our meal and a tea and ginger biscuit after.

Hidden gem! I tried “Set B” which had 5 different curries and was fantastic. Lots of different flavors. Very fairly priced. The owner was super hospitable and friendly, as well. Overall, an amazing experience.

What a find whilst mooching around the arcades for vintage clothing. Many vegetarian and vegan meals on the menu. The host was really friendly and guided us through the food choices. He was interested in our travels and made recommendations. Other diners joined in and we had a great time. I learnt a lot about Sri Lankan culture, food yoga and no dig gardening no less. All of this for the price of a meal. Brilliant.
