Really interesting concept! The mix between Japanese cuisine and a dessert cafe is a bit of a fad but these guys do ok. Food wise is certainly better than some other cafes who have tried the same thing. The sandos in particular are very good value for money (even though they do use normal sandwich bread). The set meals are big and more than enough for a person. Flavour wise nothing outstanding but good enough if you like this kind of food. The dessert we had was alright, again nothing special but certainly not bad. The place is at the old toritori/2020 street eats and I suspect is the same owner as silver sushi. Good parking since it’s a shopping centre and the restaurant itself has potential to seat a party of maybe 6/8 max? But usually there are quite a few people here so might struggle. Waitstaff are lovely, and very helpful (on the day we came at least). If you like Japanese cafe food then this is a good alternative to brown spoon around the corner, give it a go!

Came for lunch. Had to wait awhile before we got seated. Sandwich was alright. Nothing special. Both pasta were very creamy. Generous with the portion. Good to share with friends. Can get sick of the taste tho. The aburi salmon rice bowl was the best. Rice was flavourful and every bite was delicious. Would return for the rice bowl only. Also had matcha and black sesame lattes; was good as well. Did not tried any desserts.

More than a dessert Cafe, there's Japanese cuisine served at night. The soft shell crab katsu set is delicious. Food is definitely value for money. Small Cafe with limited seats.

This Japanese spot is all about simplicity, and boy, does it nail it. The atmosphere is chill, nothing too fancy, but the food is where it shines. Every dish is a flavor explosion that doesn't need frills to impress. The sushi is fresh and melts in your mouth, the teriyaki hits that perfect balance of sweet and savory, and the udon is comfort in a bowl. Each bite is like a straight shot to flavor town – no need for complicated stuff. The simplicity extends to the presentation, but don't let that fool you. The taste speaks volumes, and it's all about letting the ingredients shine. The staff is friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even better. While it might not win awards for fancy decor, this place is a winner where it counts – the taste buds. If you're into straightforward, delicious Japanese food without the fuss, this spot should be on your list. It's proof that sometimes, less is more, especially when it comes to a satisfying meal.
