One of the best restaurants in Zermatt I must say you won’t regret it. A pretty cozy vibe, salad bar with abundant choices of greens and soup. Their cheese fondue is highlight of the day. Not a big fan of lamb but I just couldn’t help having a bite after a bite, it’s so tender. Very respectable service. I fully recommend it.

It was a rainy day and we didn’t feel like doing much outdoor activities, we just wanted to have a nice warm meal and relax. We went to the Alpen & Spa Resort Hotel to try their fabulous SPA, where we actually ended up going twice that week. Very high standards, super clean and super relaxing scent. The staff of the hotel was very kind and friendly! We also tried their restaurant. Been served by a lovely Portuguese woman who served us in such a polite and sweet way. The food was such high quality, beyond delicious. The meat was the best part. But what put a big smile on our face was the dessert when we chose the Chef’s Choice and we didn’t know what to expect! We received such a lovely creative surprise. Highly recommended!

The sweet potato soup with orange hit a special spot somewhere between the sweet and soul and the creamy texture made every sip a pleasure. The beef carpaccio did the rest. The atmosphere and service were at a very high level ehile still maintaining that natural vibe preserving it from becoming overly posh. Just how i like it. I will be returning to this restaurant with more time to spend to check out the other dishes.

To begin with the food, it was super, tastefull and satisfying all senses. Atmosphere comfortable, warm and pleasant. Interesting design of the restaurant, modern and yet still gives you idea of 'the old days in Zermatt' with presented many mountain antiquitates. Service attentive. Will come back soon, for sure.

Beautiful atmosphere, friendly professional staff, good food & reasonable prices for a resort. We ate here multiple times for breakfast and dinner.
