Went here early in the morning. According to her, she opens the stall twice daily. Morning at 06:00 and afternoon (until night). If you missed her in the morning try again after 5 pm. Things get busy in the evening. I can say, her fried chicken is quite famous. The best street stall fried chicken I've tasted so far. It's a roadside hawker's stall so the price is cheap, but uncompromisingly delicious. I took 2 fried chickens, 1 briyani, 1 sticky rice, 1 Pad Kra Pao totaled 95 baht. Super cheap!
Very very tender! Crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside
Best fried chicken in Hat Yai, or even in all of Thailand? Normally we don't have great experience trying places that Mark Wiens reviewed, they are often just ok. But Laila's fried chicken is an exception to that. This was by far the best out of several places that we tried in Hat Yai and dozens of fried chicken places that we tried across Thailand. The chicken was piping hot, super crunchy on the outside, juicy and tender on the inside. The chicken is marinated with spices rich in flavour, so good that the sweet chilli sauce that comes with it isn't needed at all. The prices are amazing too: 2 pieces of chicken and a portion of sticky rice for just 45B! Amazing! This place earns a 6+ star rating, too bad google has a max of 5 stars ?
Hatyai, Thailand. Fast and juicy fried chicken.
Chicken taste amazing. To buy, you walk in front of stall. The lady will put down a piece of paper and you pick the part of chicken you want and put on top of the paper. I got 4 pieces with the sticky rice for 90 baht. There are a few other stalls that sell fried chicken but not sure how others taste.
