Awesome walk up! Depending on where you start walking from just be aware google maps might bring you up a dirt maintenance road rather than the main road. We decided to just keep going and ended up at the right place though. The cable cars aren’t working still if you planned on going up them.
This is an amazing temple with great views overlooking the city of Hat Yai. Perfect place to visit if you are in Hat Yai!
This temple is home to a sacred Blessing Statue of Guan Yin Bodhisattva, intricately carved from white marble as a tribute to the 50th anniversary of the King's ascension to the throne. The statue embodies peace, compassion, and divine blessings. The entire structure is crafted from eight blocks of white marble, standing 9.9 meters tall and weighing 80 tons. Its flawless craftsmanship and pure white appearance radiate a sense of serenity and holiness. On April 7, 1997 (Buddhist Year 2540), a three-day consecration ceremony was held, marking its official blessing and sanctification. Beyond being a sacred place for worshippers seeking blessings, this temple is also a cultural and historical landmark. Visitors can immerse themselves in the profound Buddhist atmosphere and experience a moment of tranquility and spiritual connection.
A tourist visit to this Buddhist temple with a huge golden statute - it has a nice vast view overlooking the city.
