The combo platter is quite a big portion and tastes good. Squid ink risotto is a smaller portion but is enough. Aircon is cool. Quite a quiet place to sit and chill. Menu is relatively varied.

Stumbled upon this cafe by chance. Nice, chill atmosphere, with great service crew!! Tried the fish & chips, and taiwanese crepe with floss, which were nicely presented, tasted really good too! The varieties in the menu is another plus point. Will definitely return!

Quiet cosy space on a Monday afternoon (3+pm, 19 Jan 2026). People started streaming in after 5pm. A sweet welcome from a young Msian-Chinese lady. A muslimah makcik quietly prepping at the table nexta to the kitchen. Another young lady resting at the kitchen exit. Two male chefs in the kitchen. It was really a peaceful chill environment for an eatery. F&B variety is wide and the aesthetic menu is full of lovely pictures, with the taste and texture of the meal itself proving they taste as good as they look. Spicy crab pasta was SHIOKERS and of all the sweet treats, WE ENJOYED yuan yang kazu (crunchy outside with decently sweet cold cream inside) best. 🤤 Rose oolong milk tea makes for a light & refreshing drink with chewy fresh pearls. The most disappointing: Taiwanese Portuguese egg tart. Although it was served warm to us, the non-buttery crust wasn't as flaky as good ones should be, probably due to microwave heating also. Egg filling was more milky than eggy, didn't please our palettes much. The 7.90 pistachio cake was quite rich, could challenge the current CBTL Pistachio mousse cake which's at 9.20, except for an odd aftertaste at some parts, like the swirl top. P. S. Belly pleased to have tater tots with soy garlic sauce on the house with a Google review😋

We've had their lovely desserts before, and I've long eyed their breads. Both for takeaway and as gifts from others but somehow we never got around to going in to actually sit down to eat a proper meal here, although after checking out the menu we were curious enough to one day give it a try. Well that one day came and is truthfully as an alternate choice as the original Indian restaurant we wanted to go to did not offer preferred selections for our adult kids. And so we agreed let's go. Kazo somehow we kept bypassing for a family makan as it was not an obvious first choice for us but we always said we really should try their food. We should have done earlier. With its name we always assumed it is likely Japanese in source but only to be surprised that it offers Taiwanese roots food. And they are really deliciously satisfying with good choices of Asian familiar — with the Taiwanese ones offering a different palate choices — with Western favourites. They are firstly a visual delight for the eyes for appetite appeal when they land on the table that matches to the taste bud lit that delivers warm comfort to a happy tummy. Every single dish we ordered and that is rare. The serving is truly generous so the price one pays is value for money. The quality is excellent. And because they bake their own bread the toasty meals they serve are so soulfood good. And to top it all the service is par excellence manned with such friendly and attentive staff. Really nice folks. With everyone happy and a lot more to sample it wasn't a surprise the whole family unanimously elevated Kazo to a favourite favourite goto for our next makan. And the fact that it is halal just seals the deal. We really can't want to try the rest of the menu. With their homemade style breads baked fresh and are all natural they are a must have too.

First time visiting Kazo Cafe and it was such a great experience. The cafe is aesthetically pleasing, cozy, and comfortable. I really liked the concept of mixing Western and Taiwanese flavours, which made the menu quite interesting. We ordered quite a spread, starting with the crispy cream puff, and it really lived up to its name — 咔滋咔滋. The shell was super crispy, and the Hokkaido cream inside was soft, light, and very pleasant without being too sweet. For mains, we had the classic aglio olio with prawns, which was cooked just right — not too hard and not too soft. The cheesy mushroom sourdough sandwich was comforting and filling, while the curry baked rice was rich and satisfying. The mushroom soup was warm and flavourful, perfect as a side with the garlic sourdough bread. The oyster mee sua comes with a generous amount of oyster and ended up being our favourite, especially with a splash of black vinegar. However, it was slightly on the saltier side. We also tried the classic Taiwanese egg crepe — it was a little over-crispy and slightly tough, but still tasty, especially when dipped into the sauce. To finish, we had the Business as Yuzual drink, which was very refreshing and a great way to end the meal. Overall, everything was enjoyable, from the food to the ambience. Definitely a place I’d come back to again to try more of their dishes.
