I was there for the Karnataka Food Festival. Had a blast. Amazing dishes cooked authentically by several home cooks, at very very reasonable prices. Hygiene was maintained. The place was thronged by hundreds of people which is why the event was a bit crowded. But a fun experience nonetheless
One of the best Karnataka style restaurants I have been to. This place even has lemon rice, puliyogreh and other rice kinds that I have had in Karnataka. Very quick service and a reasonably priced too. Def worth a visit.
You'll get an authentic taste of South Indian food in Delhi. The taste was quite good, especially the coffee. They serve the best medu vada in Delhi at budget-friendly prices. However, be prepared to wait for a table or stand in a queue.
This place does justice to the south indian cousin with the taste of authentic South Indian food not just the idli or dosa they have a variety of dishes in their menu. Everyday they have a special menu called today's special which is a must try I would suggest. If you want to try their food then at least have 20-30 min. Waiting on the weekend and it's not so busy on weekdays
Karnataka Café in Moti Bagh is a delightful culinary destination for lovers of authentic South Indian cuisine. From the moment you enter, the aroma of freshly tempered spices and hot filter coffee sets the tone for what’s to come – a hearty and flavorful experience that feels straight out of Karnataka. The food is simply outstanding. Whether it's their crispy dosas, fluffy idlis, or perfectly spiced vadas, every dish bursts with traditional flavors that are hard to come by in Delhi. Their chutneys and sambar deserve a special mention – rich, aromatic, and clearly made with care. The filter coffee is the perfect finishing touch, transporting you instantly to a Bangalore café. The ambience is another highlight. The café strikes a beautiful balance between modern and traditional décor, with earthy tones, soft lighting, and touches of Karnataka's culture sprinkled throughout. It’s cozy yet vibrant – perfect for families, friends, or a solo bite. Prices are refreshingly reasonable, especially considering the quality of food and service. It’s rare to find such authentic taste at such pocket-friendly rates in Delhi. Parking is a breeze, which is a huge plus in this part of the city. There’s ample space, so you can enjoy your meal without the stress of hunting for a spot. That said, one area for improvement would be the washrooms in the waiting area. A little more attention to cleanliness here would make the overall experience truly flawless. In every other aspect, Karnataka Café exceeds expectations. If you're craving real South Indian fare in Delhi with great ambience, affordability, and ease of access, this place should be at the top of your list. Highly recommended!
