I cannot explain in words the energy the place holds ..it could only be felt once u visits the mandpam the auspicious reflection of lord Ayyappa is a bliss in itself ..an true example of cultural preservance..the place is neatly cleaned and well decorated seems like I'm in sabrimala

The temple is old south Indian (malyali) temple devoted to lord ayappa situated in R.K Puram sector1. The temple is everyday lighted with 100’s of diya surrounding the temple wall. The temple has its own garden with a lot of tulsi plant and proper toilet. This place is general not very crowded, with easy assistance from the guards.During winters the temple offers ‘karda’ to everyone for free.On Sunday, breakfast is available – Idli and vada in the stall in the garden. Very peaceful its punctal closed 10:15 am before 11:oo am which is mentioned in their timings. Many rules are followed to enter there.

The temple has a great aura and is maintained well. Had an excellent darshan ?

Ayyappa Temple is situated walkable distance from Rk puram sector 2 and Mohammadpur bus stand. Secretary of Ayyappa Temple Mr. Jay Kumar ji is a very kind and down to earth person he not only guided me about temple premises as well as he told me about the rituals of the temple that are performed in this temple.

Have visited this temple last weekend with my family. Had a pleasant darsan there. Being a South Indian , love to see south temples in Delhi. This temple is celebrating 42nd anniversary this year.
